Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

This page explains, in plain language, what information Mainehaus collects and why. It isn't legal advice.

The short version

You can read Mainehaus without signing up for anything. If you join our newsletter, we only collect your email address. We don't sell your information.

Newsletter (Kit)

When you sign up for our newsletter, your email address is stored with Kit, the service we use to send it. We use it only to send you the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time. See Kit's privacy policy.

Hosting (Vercel)

Our site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel keeps basic server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Maps (OpenStreetMap)

Our maps use tiles from OpenStreetMap. When a map loads, your browser requests those tiles from OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive your IP address and basic request details. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.

Analytics

We don't use any analytics.

Cookies

Mainehaus doesn't set any cookies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, or email us to have your address deleted.
